Ocean Bluffs - Oceanview with Beach Access Home |
| Description: Ocean Bluffs, located near Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, is a secluded six acre waterfront estate nestled among giant firs, overlooking Georgia Strait and the islands of Hornby and Texada. With the snow-capped coastal mountain range on the horizon. Ocean Bluffs is an idyllic retreat where one can relax in peace and tranquility while appreciating the breathtaking views and abundant wildlife that Vancouver Island has to offer. Thirty-three bird species have been sighted on the property since 1998 when the home was built. An eagle tree is located directly outside the windows enabling tremendous viewing at certain times of the year. Winter brings the harbour seals in numbers to the beach below and we have counted over thirty at one time from the space deck. If you are here in late February and early March, you will witness the amazing herring spawn and the numerous birds and mammals that appear to take advantage of the great bounty. Ocean Bluffs is only fifty five minutes drive from Mount Washington's ski lifts. This alpine facility boasts some of the heaviest snow accumulations on the West Coast.
